Synesthesia: Scent of Light and Art

A pretty cool artistic expression.

An artistic examination, in an exhibit in Shanghai this past fall, of the relationship between light and audience and assertion that light can affect one’s olfactory senses!

The concept relied on the power of suggestion as an experiment in perception by provoking those who interacted with the works to open their senses beyond the visual realm. Whether or not their noses actually opened up their minds remains a notion shrouded in darkness, however.
